Erianthus strictus Elliott. Common name: Narrow Plume Grass. Phenology: Jul-Nov. Habitat: Marshes, clay-based Carolina bays, depression ponds, ditches. Distribution: E. VA south to FL, west to TX, AR, scattered northward inland to TN and MO.
