Schizachyrium niveum (Swallen) Gould. Pinescrub Bluestem. Phen: Oct-Nov. Hab: Florida scrub, longleaf pine sandhills. Dist: Endemic to c. peninsular FL; reported for Lowndes Co. in sc. GA (Kral 1973), but the report has been discounted by later authors (Wipff in FNA 2003a).
