Sporobolus cryptandrus (Torrey) A. Gray. Common name: Sand Dropseed. Phenology: May-Nov. Habitat: Floodplains, shores, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of c. and w. North America, west of the Appalachians. This species is reported for NC by HC, F, and S.
