Clematis albicoma Wherry. Common name: White-haired Leatherflower. Phenology: May-Jun; May-Aug. Habitat: Shale barrens. Distribution: Endemic to w. VA (Alleghany, Augusta, Bath, Botetourt, Highland, and Rockbridge counties), and e. WV.
