Clematis crispa Linnaeus. Subgenus: Viorna. Marsh Clematis, Southern Leatherflower, Swamp Leatherflower, Blue Jasmine. Phen: Apr-Aug (-Sep). Hab: Marshes, tidal and non-tidal swamps, floodplain forests, disturbed wet or moist areas. Dist: FL to TX, north to se. VA and s. IL.
