Clematis viticaulis Steele. Subgenus: Viorna. Common name: Millboro Leatherflower. Phenology: May-Jun; May-Aug. Habitat: Shale barrens and shaly woodlands. Distribution: Endemic to w. VA (Bath and Rockbridge counties).
