*Pinus banksiana Lambert. Common name: Jack Pine. Habitat: Dry forests. Distribution: NL, NU, and NT south to MA, NY, IN, IL, IA, ND, and BC. Reported as possibly naturalized in WV (Harmon, Ford-Werntz, & Grafton 2006) and other states in the northern part of our region.
