Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Taxonomy Comments: Records need re-examination in regards identification as P. rupestre or other taxa in the genus.

Synonymy : = Can, POWO, Messerschmid et al (2020); = Sedum rupestre L. — F, FNA8, NY; ? Petrosedum orientale (E.'t Hart) Grulich — K4; >< Sedum reflexum L. — C, Il, NE, Clausen (1975), misapplied. Basionym: Sedum rupestre L. 1753
