Amorpha fruticosa Linnaeus. Tall Indigo-bush. Phen: Apr-Jun; Jun-Oct. Hab: Riverbanks, forests, woodlands, marsh edges, sometimes in disturbed sites. Dist: NB west to WA, south to s. FL, TX, s. CA, and Mexico (BCN, CHH, SON). Considered adventive in the ne. US and Great Lakes region.
