plant sale text: Yellow Wild Indigo produces yellow pea- like flowers rising well above its bluish- green trifoliate foliage on erect 12- to 15- inch tall racemes. Flowers range from vivid to buttery yellow in color. After flowering has finished, the attractive seed pods persist, as well as the handsome foliage. Over time, each plant forms a slowly expanding clump with a deep and extensive root system. Drought tolerant once its root system is established.
