Desmodium ×humifusum (Muhlenberg ex Bigelow) L.C. Beck. Ground-spreading Tick-trefoil. Hab: Dry, sandy soils. Dist: MA (NS?) south to MD and DC (and possibly VA).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Raveill (2002) discusses the probably hybrid origin of Desmodium humifusum (paniculatum × rotundifolium). The exact nature of its origin and status as a hybrid versus a species of hybrid origin is unclear.
