Orbexilum virgatum (Nuttall) Rydberg. Subgenus: Poikadenia. Common name: Slender Leather-root. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, pine flatwoods. Distribution: Se. GA (or SC?) south to ne. FL. A collection by Allen Hiram Curtiss is labeled as from SC.
