Senega crenata (C.W. James) J.F.B. Pastore & J.R. Abbott. Subgenus: Senega. Section: Cleistogamae. Common name: Scalloped Milkwort. Phenology: Mar.-Apr. (-Jun.) Habitat: Wet pine flatwoods and savannas, bogs, bayheads, acidic swamps. Distribution: FL Panhandle and AL west to e. TX; reported for GA (B.A. Sorrie, pers. comm.; R. Carter 16758).

Synonymy : = Pastore et al (2023); = Polygala crenata C.W.James — Fl3, FNA10, GW2, K4, WH3. Basionym: Polygala crenata C.W.James 1957
