Amelanchier canadensis (Linnaeus) Medikus. Eastern Serviceberry. Phen: Mar-Apr; May-Jun. Hab: Pocosins, acidic wetlands, bogs, wet pine flatwoods, maritime forests. Dist: NS and NB south to GA, mainly on the Coastal Plain.
