*Aruncus sylvester Kosteletzky ex Maximowicz. Common name: European Goat's-beard. Habitat: Cultivated. There appears to be no definite evidence of naturalization in our area. Distribution: This European species is occasionally cultivated in e. North America and is attributed to our area by Small (1933), on unknown grounds.
