Habitat: Sandy or gravelly shores and islands, barrens. Distribution: NL (Labrador) west to ON, south to NJ, s. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993; Rhoads & Block 2007; Kartesz 2010), c. WV, and sc. TN.
