*Prunus subhirtella Miquel. Common name: Higan Cherry, Weeping Higan Cherry, Winter-flowering Cherry. Phenology: (Dec-) Mar-Apr; Jun. Habitat: Floodplain forests in suburban areas, other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of e. Asia, commonly planted, rarely escaped, but locally invasive.
