*Pyracantha koidzumii (Hayata) Rehder. Common name: Formosan Firethorn. Phenology: Feb-May. Habitat: Planted, escaped to woodlands, roadsides, open disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Taiwan. Reported for AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, OK, SC, TX (Nesom 2010a). See Serviss et al. (2018) for discussion of its occurrence in AR.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = Ar, FNA9, K4, NcTx, WH3, Nesom (2010j), Robertson (1974); = n/a — RAB; Cotoneaster koidzumii Hayata. Basionym: Cotoneaster koidzumii Hayata 1911
