Rubus pensilvanicus Poiret. Common name: Pennsylvania Blackberry, Eastern Blackberry. Phenology: Apr-May; late May-Jul. Habitat: Roadsides, thickets, woodlands. Distribution: ME west to MN, south to FL and TX. Map needs disentangling from Rubus argutus.
