Quercus chapmanii Sargent. Common name: Chapman Oak. Phenology: Feb-Mar; Sep-Nov (of the same year). Habitat: Dry pinelands, longleaf sandhills, scrubby flatwoods, Florida scrub (more abundant often on white sands). Distribution: A Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic: se. SC south to s. FL, west to sw. AL.
