Solidago ayuhwasi M. Brock & D. Estes. Subgenus: Solidago. Section: Erectae. Series: Erectae. Common name: Hiwassee Goldenrod. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Rocky river-scour. Distribution: Endemic to a 5-mile stretch of the Hiwassee River in Polk County, TN.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This species is similar to S. plumosa; see Brock & Estes (2023).
