Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Fl6, K4, Lohmann & Taylor (2014); = Cydista aequinoctialis (L.) Miers — WH3, Krings & Braham (2004). Basionym: Bignonia aequinoctialis L. 1753
