Salix interior Rowlee. Common name: Sandbar Willow. Phenology: Mar-mid May; Jun-Aug. Habitat: Sandbars, riverbanks, creekbanks, flood scours. Distribution: NB west to BC and AK, south to n. DE, n. VA, TN, MS, LA, TX, and NM.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Sometimes interpreted as S. exigua var. sericans (Nees) Dorn (Nesom 2002).
