Salix lucida Muhlenberg. Common name: Shining Willow. Phenology: May. Habitat: Seepages, low areas. Distribution: NL west to SK, south to NJ, VA, OH, IN, IL, IA, and SD. Uncertainly indigenous to the one known VA population in Roanoke County.
