Salix sericea Marshall. Common name: Silky Willow. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Bogs, fens, seeps, seepage swamps, peaty swamps, banks of small streams. Distribution: NL, QC, MI, WI, and se. MN, south to w. NC, ne. GA, e. TN, sc. TN, n. AL, and n. AR.
