Lemna trisulca Linnaeus. Section: Lemna. Star Duckweed, Ivy-leaved Duckweed. Hab: Still to slowly moving waters of ponds, lakes, beaver ponds, and swamps, calcareous springs. Dist: Widespread in the Northern Hemisphere; scattered in the Southern Hemisphere.
