Hypericum

not marked as a favorite taxon Hypericum nudiflorum Michaux ex Willdenow. Phenology: Jun-Jul. Habitat: Streambanks, moist forests, swamps, wet coastal prairies. Distribution: Se. Virginia south to Panhandle Florida, west to the Mississippi River. Plants formerly called H. nudiflorum west of the MS river (at least in AR) have been determined instead to be H. apocynifolium (T. Witsell, pers. comm.; 2025).
