Toxicodendron radicans (Linnaeus) Kuntze var. pubens (Engelmann ex S. Watson) Reveal. Habitat: Xeric limestone woodlands, barrens, outcrops, and clearings. Distribution: S. Illinois and Missouri south to se. Louisiana and s. Texas; disjunct eastward in c. Kentucky, c. Tennessee, and w. Virginia (Virginia Botanical Associates 2019).
