Lechea intermedia Leggett ex Britton var. intermedia. Common name: Northern Pinweed. Phenology: Jul-Aug; Aug-Oct. Habitat: Dry areas. Distribution: NB west to ON, MN, and SK, south to VA, n. OH, n. IL, and nw. NE.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Only var. intermedia ranges south of New England; three other varieties occur in New England and Canada.
