Planodes virginicum (Linnaeus) E.L. Greene. Common name: Virginia-cress, Sibara. Phenology: Feb-Jun. Habitat: Disturbed areas, fields, roadsides; a native weed, presumably much more common now than formerly. Distribution: VA west to IL, IA, and KS, south to FL and TX; the original distribution uncertain.
