Polygonella gracilis (Nuttall) Meisner. Common name: Wireweed. Phenology: Late Aug-Oct; Oct-Jan. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Sc. NC south to s. FL, west to s. MS, perhaps adventive toward the northern part of the range.
