Isoetes chapmanii (Engelmann) Small. Chapman’s Florida Quillwort. Hab: Springs, stream bottoms, river bottoms, ditches. Dist: FL Panhandle.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon should be recognized at species rank based on the polyphyly of Isoetes flaccida s.l. (Schafran et al. 2018).

Other Comments: A diploid species (2n=22).

Synonymy: = Isoetes flaccida Shuttlew. ex A.Braun var. chapmanii Engelm. – K1, K4, Sf; < Isoetes flaccida Shuttlew. ex A.Braun – Fl1, FNA2, K3, WH3, Musselman (2001)
