Alternanthera flavescens Kunth. Yellow Joyweed. Hab: Hammocks, sandbars. Dist: Widespread in the FL peninsula, north to ne. FL (Clay County) (Wunderlin & Hansen 2004); West Indies, s. Mexico (CAM, ROO, YUC), South America, the native distribution unclear, but seemingly native.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = FNA4, K1, K3, K4, Mex, WH3; > Achyranthes ramosissima (Mart.) Standl. – S; > Alternanthera floridana (Chapm.) Small – S13; > Telanthera floridana Chapm.
