*Amaranthus crispus (Lespinasse & Thévenau) A. Braun. Crisp-leaved Amaranth. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Disturbed areas, especially around seaports. Dist: Native of South America. Reported for VA by Massey (1961), but no documentation is known.
