*Fimbristylis squarrosa Vahl. Common name: Asian Fimbry. Habitat: On ballast, apparently only a waif in our area (but FNA states "the weedy and often ruderal nature of the species makes it a likely future adventive". Distribution: Native of Old World tropics and subtropics.
