Habitat: Mesic hardwood forests, sinkhole and depression ponds, wet meadows, other wet areas. Distribution: Maine and s. Québec west to Alberta and Washington, south irregularly to ne. Florida, Panhandle Florida, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Arizona.
