Lonicera canadensis Bartram ex Marshall. Common name: American Fly-honeysuckle. Phenology: May-Jun; Jun-Jul. Habitat: Shrubby mountain bogs at high elevations, bouldery northern hardwood forests, hemlock and spruce swamps. Primiarily in the mountains in our flora region (south of PA, where more widespread). Distribution: South NS to SK, south to PA, w. NC, n. GA, OH, IN, and MN.
