Ceratiola ericoides Michaux. Rosemary, Florida Rosemary, Sandhill Rosemary, Sand Heath. Phen: Mar-Nov. Hab: Xeric sandhills, usually in white "sugar sand", also in maritime dunes. Dist: Ne. SC south to s. FL and west to s. MS.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Trapnell et al. (2007) studied genetic differentiation in the species.

Other Comments: Its content of aromatic compounds makes it very flammable.
