plant sale text: Dwarf azalea is a loosely-branched deciduous shrub from the coastal plain that makes a lovely addition any woodland garden. In April, around the time that new leaves emerge, clusters of sweet smelling pinkish-white flowers blossom heralding the arrival of spring. Dwarf azaleas prefer loamy soils and dappled shade but will tolerate full sun if kept well-watered - just be sure to provide good drainage to prevent root rot. The genus Rhododendron supports up to 50 lepidoptera species.
