Rhododendron austrinum (Small) Rehder. Florida Flame Azalea. Phen: Mar. Hab: Hammocks, bluffs, floodplain forests. Dist: Sc. GA and ne. FL west to s. AL and se. MS (Kron 1993); also reported for e. GA (Jones & Coile 1988).
