Galium tinctorium Linnaeus var. tinctorium. Common name: Southern Three-lobed Bedstraw, Stiff Marsh Bedstraw. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Swamps, marshes, and ditches. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN and NE, south to SC, n. GA, KY, and ne. MO.
