not marked as a favorite taxon Isoetes lacustris ssp. macrospora (Durieu) D.F. Brunton & Kartesz. Common name: Lake Quillwort. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Submerged in lakes and permanent streams. Distribution: Apparently extirpated from the historic locality in Virginia.
