Asclepias viridula Chapman. Common name: Bog Milkweed, Little Green Milkweed, Southern Milkweed. Phenology: Apr-Sep; Jun-Oct. Habitat: Wet longleaf pine savannas and flatwoods, seepage slopes, pitcherplant bogs. Distribution: Ne. FL; se. AL (Houston County) south to Panhandle FL; no records exist for GA.
