not marked as a favorite taxon *Heliotropium indicum Linnaeus. Common name: Turnsole, Alacrancillo, India Heliotrope. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Roadsides, woodland borders, swamps, ditches. Distribution: Native of South America, now widely naturalized in tropical and subtropical parts of both hemispheres.
