Trillium lancifolium Rafinesque. Subgenus: Sessilia. Lanceleaf Trillium, Narrowleaf Trillium. Phen: (Late Jan-) Mar-Apr. Hab: Rich forests over marble, limestone, and other calcareous substrates, floodplain forests. Dist: Se. TN south through w. GA and AL to Panhandle FL and se. AL. MS report is a false report -- misidentified T. stamineum. Material previously referred to this species from Kershaw County, SC represents T. oostingii.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: Petals purple, green, or greenish-purple.
