*Jasminum mesnyi Hance. Common name: Japanese Jasmine, Primrose Jasmine. Phenology: Jan-Mar. Habitat: Cultivated and sometimes persistent or spreading (at least vegetatively, by layering) from plantings. Distribution: Native of w. China. Reported for Georgia (Kartesz 1999), Panhandle Florida (Kunzer et al. 2009), and Alabama Coastal Plain (Diamond 2013).
