Callitriche peploides Nuttall. Phenology: (Jan-) Feb-Apr (-Jun). Habitat: Low fields, ditches. Distribution: SC south to s. FL, west to TX; disjunct inland in AR (the report for Polk Co., TN erroneous); e. Mexico south to Costa Rica.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Ar, Fl6, FNA17, GW2, K4, NcTx, RAB, S, S13, Tx, WH3, Lansdown (2009); > Callitriche peploides Nutt. var. peploides — Fassett (1951). Basionym: Callitriche peploides Nutt. 1837 [1835]
