Veronica peregrina Linnaeus var. xalapensis (Kunth) Pennell. Common name: Western Purslane Speedwell. Phenology: (Feb-) Apr-May. Habitat: Fields, lawns, disturbed places; in the eastern part of our area probably introduced on ballast. Distribution: QC and AK south to MA, KY, TX, and south to Guatemala.
