*Marrubium vulgare Linnaeus. Common name: White Horehound. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Fencerows, disturbed places, formerly widely planted and escaped, now declining in abundance. Distribution: Native of Eurasia.

Origin/Endemic status: Eurasia

Other Comments: Used for cough-syrups in folk medicine.
