*Salvia verticillata Linnaeus. Common name: Whorled Clary. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Europe. Introduced as far south as scattered locations in PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993), MD, and WV (Kartesz 1999, 2020).

Origin/Endemic status: Europe

Synonymy : = C, F, G, Il, K4, NE, NY, Pa, WV, Stace (2010). Basionym: Salvia verticillata L. 1753
